Just making stuff up

I have no explanation as to why I am making up recipes recently when I have plenty of recipes for plenty of dishes of all kinds.
Just some weird urge to try different things I think. I am guessing it has something to do with Spring. You know how you want to spruce things up in the house, maybe do some spring-cleaning when the nicer weather hits?
Maybe that is caused by the rays of sunshine coming in the windows and lighting up all the dust on things you couldn't see before.
Again, not sure why I am making stuff up but here I go again. I want to make apple stuffed sweet potatoes. Usually when I do stuffed sweet potatoes I go savory but I am planning to go sweet this time. That's unusual for me. I do not have a sweet recipe, so I am going to be making it up as I go. I like cooked apples. Reminds me of apple crisp which I love but don't eat anymore because of the sugar content.
So cooked apples, a dash of cinnamon, baked sweet potatoes, shredded chicken breast, some celery bits cooked soft. What else? Will that do it?
Maybe a splash of maple syrup to sweeten it up a tiny bit and add some flavor? Maybe a squirt of lemon to brighten it up? Maybe some chopped pecans to top it off?
This will not be a side dish, this will be the main entree' so that is why the addition of the chicken. Which means now I need a side dish to go with it, right?
Maybe some green beans? Maybe cauliflower?
Always so many ideas float around in my head once I get started.
Does it sound tasty to you yet? Have some ideas of your own? Should I actually mix it up and add minced onions? I don't know about that.
