Hope you had a grand Holiday weekend.

Here it is Monday again. Time to get back on track, get busy, get back on schedule and all that kind of thing.

This is one of my most favorite places to be. I love coming here. The cherry blossoms are always in bloom when I come to visit. The air smells so sweet. It snows soft pink petal-flakes, they cover the sidewalks. It's like a dream.

If I was a writer, my novel would start out with the paragraph above. Well, one of the novels anyway. I have so many ideas in my mind. I don't think I'm a writer.

Because I do this blog, it has been suggested that perhaps I might be a writer. That maybe I should write a book.

Well, you'll read it when I do it. LOL.

I don't have menus yet. I don't have a grocery list yet due to not having menus yet. I don't have any new badges. I haven't even finished any new drawings or paintings.

What have I been doing then? For Pete's Sake I sure wish I knew. Just being a bit lazy I guess.

My laptop moves so very slowly these days that I have been uninspired about blogging or getting on Facebook or any other social media. I get online, do what I need to do and leave. It is too much a trial on my patience.

Cabbage, eggplant, corn, and certain types of squash are in season right now, so I will probably pick recipes with those ingredients in mind for this coming week.

The week of salads went fast and the salads were tasty and filling, but my sensitive gut started to rebel after a few days. Darn.

Having typed much ado about nothing i will sign-off now and go finish chores.

I used to be addicted to not showering.

Luckily, I’ve been clean for five years.
