Books

I am a reader. I like to read. I tend to lean towards magazines that talk about topics I am currently interested in, things like diet or crafts or discoveries.

But the real reading is in books. I like mysteries, thrillers, sci-fi, fantasy, and books about the paranormal or supernatural in story form.

Some of my favorite authors are Robert L Asprin, Heather Graham, Nora Roberts, Joan D Vinge, John Grisham, Isaac Asimov, Stephen King, Anne Rice, Sandra Brown, Michael Connelly and more of course, but these writers keep me entertained.

I am running out of books to read. I need more books.

I keep looking out there for cheap books to buy, but what I would really like is to find a nearby book exchange or to start one.

I finish a book by one of the above authors and exchange it straight across for a book by one of the above authors that I have not read yet.

Don't you think that's a great idea?

So I finally found someone on craigslist, or was it facebook marketplace, that had several books by Heather Graham, many that I had not yet read and I got so excited only to realize that person lived 3 or 4 cities away from me. How disappointing. Plus they wanted a little too much for each book.

Books are not getting cheaper. You'd think they would drop in price what with Kindle books and such, but that has not been the case.

I am open to your ideas, if you have any to put out there for me.
