Who are you?

Who are you? Who am I?

Well, my name is Star and I am on a journey of many adventures, including the surprising experience of aging. My plan? To age successfully.

How about you? Are you questing to improve health? Are you looking for recommendations of tv shows and movies to watch? Are you curious about what other folks are up to in their daily lives?

There must be some reason you have chosen to read my blogs which are pretty much about food, tea, tv shows and a bunch of random stuff having to do with my hobbies and interests.

What might those reasons be? I am curious. Email me: TreeCityStar@outlook.com

I might be interested in tackling a topic that you suggest or that you have a curiosity about.

I know that I talk about menus, sleep, health, diet, shopping, tea, banking, investing, keeping to a schedule, music, tai chi, exercise, and my various hobbies. I do not think I have talked about jewelry very much or clothes or hoarding. Those are on my list. But I didn't want to bore you out of your gourd.

This is the time of year when I cannot help but think of pumpkins, costumes, candy and leaves.

I happen to love dressing up in costumes. I love pumpkin pie (with whipped cream of course). I do not eat candy anymore but I love the thought of passing out candy to little kids who make the effort to dress up and trapse about the neighborhood brandishing a bag to hold their spoils like little pirates. So much fun for them and for me.

Even though I am not at all fond of the cold I truly enjoy this time of year. In fact, I do not even mind raking the leaves.

I had this idea of raking up a stack of leaves, stuffing them in a plastic grocery bag, tying it up to form a ball, and then placing a mask on the ball like it was a head. Then, taking the balls with masks on them and placing them around the yard. How cool would that be? However, my idea takes it one step further. I want to place a solar light beside each one with the light shining on the would-be masked head to make sure they are visible at night when it would be more fun to see them.

What do you think?

Do you have some ideas for decorating your space that are budget friendly? Do you need some ideas? Let me know.

Anyway, I am spending some time inside the MetaQuest Worlds. I am still trying to figure it all out and I am learning that getting games on the headset is not as easy as you might think. I signed up for the subscription to the library of games but....1. you have to download each game 2. it takes days to download a game 3. then you have to install the game when it finally actually downloads.

I'll let you know how it turns out. I'm still waiting. <sigh>
