Thank you. Dinner. Tea. And Stuff

First, let me say thanks for asking for a recipe. I love sharing. Then let me say thanks to the one saying you love the COTF idea. I love it too.

So this week I had to renew a CD and was doing the online chat with the person at the bank. She asked what I was up to this week and I told I was 'rock painting'. She did not have to ask me what that was, instead she told me that her family used to do that and they'd take the painted rocks up the trails and leave them to be found. I thought that was cool. Sharing that because it's nice to know there are kindred spirits out there. Her name was Bella.

Anyway, I discovered a new kind of tea. I have always liked Earl Grey, and no, it's not just because Captain Picard drank that particular tea. (not just) This tea, which is new to me, is called Lady Grey. It is tea with the Bergamot, like Earl Grey, but it also has added citrus making it super tasty to my taste buds. Love this new tea. If you are not familiar with it, I recommend you give it a try. I have been getting the Twinings brand from Walmart.

So what did we have for dinner last night? We had Lentils, rice and spinach. I know it sounds like a soup but it's not. After cooking, the rice and the lentils suck up all the broth, plump up, and it is no longer soupy at all.

I know, that wasn't on the menus I posted. I don't know why. And btw the Cheesy Cauliflower Mac turned out good. You really could not tell there was cauliflower in the sauce.
