Shots Fired !!!

I fired the shots. I will no longer employ shots. They are retired involuntarily.
I hate shots.
So from here forward they will be called by another name, not shots. Shots are tiny little glasses filled with alcohol. No longer are shots a poke in the arm that makes your arm sore for days on end.
I have decided to call this ritual 'getting armor'. Yes, cladding myself up in armor against a specific foe that might do me harm.
In September I was cloaked in armor against the enemy known as pneumonia. In October I was dressed in the armor against the flu. And now, here in November I have been attired in an armor that will protect me against the COVID.
I am armored up.
I am ready to go out into the world and risk 'exposure'. I am going to call that Northern Exposure. (LOL --sorry, I make myself giggle).
Anyway, besides trying to stay on track and get some things done in spite of having to walk around in heavy armor I have had a pretty good weekend, fairly productive and all that.
On my agenda for today is my usual -- laundry and creating menus. Plus I intend to get the year-round tree decorated for November -- Thanksgiving themed.
I managed to get the tree un-decorated and all the Halloween stuff packed up working slowly around the armor.
And now I can't stop playing the little ad song in my head about Armor Hot Dogs because I keep saying armor to myself.
I encourage all of you to go and get vaccinated. I know, it's an inconvenience and no one likes the process, me included. Still, it's worth it when you consider what might happen if you were to contract any of those ugly sicknesses.
I hate being sick far more than I dislike being poked.
Hope your doing well. Let's keep it that way.
I'll post the menus I have decided on as soon as I get them formulated. In the meantime, here's a something.
What do you call a toothless grizzly?
Gummy bear.
