Seasons and Seasonings

This is the time of year that I have a tendency to get moody and down. Why is that? It's the end of the gardening. It's the end of the blooming flowers. It's the end of the daylight savings and we have to change our clocks again which I think is absurd.

The weather is changing and getting cooler and now I have to put away all the new shorts I bought. <sigh>

I know lots of people love Autumn. The leaves are changing colors and putting on a vivid display that can be inspiring. So I will stop dissing on it now before I offend the Autumn Lovers.

The end of summer also signals the beginning of the pumpkin-spice latte fever. Then there's pumpkin-spice cupcakes, muffins, cookies, bundt cakes and so forth.

I have to say, I love a bit of spice here and there too. Not the pumpkin-spice latte's, but I do really like putting some good herbs and spices in my cooking.

So, switching topics here and mentioning that Dr Google says that drinking 2 cups of spearmint tea per day will do some wonders for my hormones, so I am trying to drink those two cups daily and finding it hard to fit them in to my routine. I am getting one done. Have you heard of this? Anyone of you ever try this? Or anyone just drinking the mint tea for your tummy? It's also supposed to be really good for digestion.

I will have to do a whole blog about teas and herbals.

I need to fetch myself some breakfast so that's it for now. TTFN
