Menus - Shred - Recycle
I shred paper stuff and old credit cards. After shredding I put the shreds in the recycle bin. When it comes to old credit cards, I shred, then take half and put in the garbage and then wait a week (until after the trash is picked up) and then toss the other half. I do this so that I am taking one precaution against identity theft. I'm sure there's plenty more I could/should do but I'm not sure what those other things are, really.
Yes, I recycle my old menus. Last week's is already in the recycle ready stack.
So this week's grocery list is going to cost me about $75. True, it is costing more to do the same thing with the same stuff. I am not a bit happy about that. I am retired so my income is not growing alongside the growing cost of things.
Anywho, here is this week's menus:
Nutty Butter Soup(2) and maybe flatbread alongside
Popeye in the Sun, Olive Oyl, but no Sweet Pea
Roasted River Rocks and Pots
Feathers in Tar, Mossy-scrapings, and Smashed Sidelings
Need help figuring out just what is really on the menus? Why am I 'coding' all the menu items?
I'm not really coding them - it's not a secret thing at all, I'm just playing around and having some fun with this.
Below I will put the translation for you. Do not scroll if you want to figure it out yourself.
Why does Humpty Dumpty love autumn?
Because he always has a great fall.
(tsk tsk)

Nutty Butter Soup = A Soup with Beans, Chicken, and Butternut cubes
Popeye in the Sun = A Spinach, White Bean, Sun Dried Tomato, skillet dish with Orzo
Roasted River Rocks = Fish, with Roasted Root Vegetables and Potatoes
Feathers in Tar = Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy and 'Greens'.
Spaghetti is also a possibility on the menu, but listing worms and eyeballs is waiting to be done when it is closer to Halloween.
