Or.......how I spend a lot of my time.
Gotta start the New Year out right, so I am working on a painting.
I haven't talked much about my craft work in recent blogs. That's because I talk about it on another blog site that is dedicated to showing off all the craft work that I do and talking about it and showing pictures of it and it's where I sell my stuff and all that sort of thing.
The painting that I am working on is of a setting in a Greek home with a view out the French doors of the sea while sitting at a small table for two.
It could be Italy. I could be any Mediterranean Country but what I have in my mind is Greece.
Currently, as far as TV time goes I am watching Mom which I am really enjoying a lot. It almost makes me want to join AA, even though I don't drink. Do they let you do that?
And I am watching that horror show I mentioned before. Along with continuing to watch Stargate SG1.
Still doing my exercise routines but recently added in Country Line-Dancing. So now I exercise 5 times a day. (After breakfast, after lunch, after dinner, in the evening, and randomly with the dancing).
I have to start paying for my subscription this month for the VR stuff. If you are curious it is not just games to play, although there are a lot of those. There are 3D travel adventures some put out there by National Geographic, some featured on YouTube which you get in there as well. And a bunch of other ones. (By in-there, I mean in the virtual world.) There are concerts you can attend too. In fact I went to a Coldplay concert that was sensational!!! It was a view you could never have had in an auditorium. It was like being right there on stage yourself.
So pay for it I will. I am thinking it is worth it. Cheaper than actual travel and far more convenient. Did I mention you can take a ride on the International Space Station?
What am I currently reading? (You know I am an avid reader, always reading.) I am reading a book titled "Kiss of Darkness". I recently ordered a gob of books from Thriftbooks so I am stocked up and ready for the year. Well maybe not the whole year but definitely for a while.
Got the new calendars hung up and the new schedule printed out and hung up. I already have to make changes to it though. Geez.
Here's to a great year for all of us, a year filled with joy, Holiday feasts, companionship: a continuous celebration of life. May there be dancing, fellowship, laughter and good health in your world.
Why do seagulls fly over the sea?
If they flew over the bay, they would be bagels. LOL.
