What am I talking about?
The difference between going on a diet and going on an eatit is simple. On the first, the diet, you are restricting something. Either you are restricting calories, or fats, or carbohydrates and on some diets, even fruits. It's all about not eating something.
An eatit on the other hand asks you to eat everything on the list daily and weekly. The theory is, that if you eat everything on the list you will not be able to eat anything else such as those things which are not on the list. If it's not on the list it is considered not as healthy for you which is why it didn't make it on the list, of course.
The foods that are on the list are many. It is a long list. It's not a totally vegan list or fully plant based list. It would be hard to get bored with it I think because of the huge variety.
What might be hard, is wanting to eat some things that are not on the list of edibles. Things like Cheetos or Fritos or Puff Corn and stuff like Mickey D's triple bacon mac-a doodle. Those things are addicting and the cravings are real and can be tough to resist for a short time. And there's the upside. The cravings only last for a short time and you feel so full that you give up on that thing that isn't even in the house so you'd have to drive somewhere to get it and that's too much of a hassle when you have these delectable goodies right there in your kitchen.
I saw a video once of a man who had a coffee table overloaded with food that he was claiming was equivalent to one days worth of calories. I couldn't see how anyone could possibly eat all that food in just one day. That's how the eatit works.
I am not a doctor nor am I an authority on disorders or diseases. In fact I am not even a registered Dietician. I'm just a semi-retired regular person who has done the reading and the research and this is just a blog. Just sayin'.
