I have been super busy jumping from one creative activity to another.
I am taking empty bathroom tissue rolls and making ornaments, angels, owls, globes, stars, and I'm just getting started on that. Rescuing items from the trash and repurposing them is a satisfying endeavor. Yes, those are also up for sale - albeit for a very cheap price.
Of course I have not abandoned jars and bottles. I am still decorating those and having so much fun learning new ways to do that. I did a Grandfather clock bottle that I think turned out especially well. I did a 'Star Jar' and a 'Flower Jar' as well and I think those are quite tasteful.
I have made a couple of lighthouses - one I made out of a plastic mouthwash bottle and it really does light up.
I also made a 'gnome-home' and a couple fairy houses, and those also light up. So cute!
Now I am working on making jewelry. I made a (dark) green and silver necklace that turned out very pretty (I think). I made a gold and black bracelet. I'm working on another bracelet today. All these have magnetic clasps to make putting them on or taking them off a breeze.
Everything is for sale.
I have made a few things with pistas (pistachio nut shells) that were pleasing to do because I feel I am rescuing these from the trash and making something out of them. I did a jar with them. I made flowers with them.
I also made flowers from crepe paper, from empty bathroom tissue rolls, and now I'm going to make a flower bracelet (using beads of course).
When it got pretty cold here I dug out yarn and crochet hook and made a few hanging baskets of vine-type plants, one with pink flowers copying the look of a blooming cactus.
Something about cold weather makes me want to knit and crochet.
Yes those are also for sale.
Check my web page for those items - called "items".
